Jetskiing
Jet ski rides across the lagoon, at extra cost
Jetskiing

Jet skis are the quickest way to get across the lagoon around You & Me, and the water sports centre caters for first-timers as well as anyone who’s ridden before. It’s on the beach, a short walk from the dive centre, and run by Water Sports Mission. Jet skis are motorised, so they cost extra and sit outside the all-inclusive plan. For slower time on the water, the kayaks and paddleboards are included.

Diving
SSI diving in Raa Atoll with Dive Mission
Diving

Diving at You & Me is run by Dive Mission, an SSI centre on the arrival jetty. Its boats reach the dive sites in 10 to 60 minutes. The marine life list runs from turtles and manta rays to grey reef sharks and napoleon fish, and wall and current dives add eagle rays and tuna. Beginners can learn and certify here, courses run up to professional level, and there are 2-tank and full-day trips. The rental kit is new Scubapro. Diving costs extra.

Sea Bobbing
Ride a Seabob on and under the lagoon
Sea Bobbing

A Seabob is a small electric water scooter. You hold on to the handles and it pulls you along, either on the surface or just below it, so you can follow the lagoon floor for a few seconds and come back up for air when you like. The resort hires them through its water sports centre on the beach. Seabobs are motorised, so they cost extra and aren’t part of the all-inclusive plan.

Fun Tubing
Inflatable tube rides towed across the lagoon
Fun Tubing

Fun tubing is the simplest ride the water sports centre offers. You sit or lie on an inflatable tube, hold the handles, and a boat tows you across the lagoon, bouncing over its own wake. There’s no skill to learn, so it suits anyone who’s happy to get wet. The centre is run by Water Sports Mission from the beach. Because a motor boat does the towing, tubing counts as a motorised water sport and costs extra.

Fly Boarding
Flyboarding on the lagoon, at extra cost
Fly Boarding

A flyboard straps to your feet and a jet of water, pumped through a hose from a water scooter, lifts you up out of the lagoon so you can hover above it. At You & Me it’s run by the water sports centre on the beach, managed by Water Sports Mission, which also handles the jet skis and tube rides. Flyboarding is motorised, so it isn’t on the all-inclusive plan and costs extra.

Beach Volley
Beach volleyball games run by the fitness team
Beach Volley

Beach volley is one of the sessions on the fitness centre’s list, hosted by its qualified instructors, and the resort has a volleyball and futsal court. It’s one of the few things on the island that needs more than two people, so it’s a natural way to meet other guests. Games are pitched for any level.

Gym
Fully equipped gym, included on the all-inclusive plan
Gym

You & Me has a fully equipped gym, which the resort describes as a gym with a view, so you can keep up your routine on holiday without staring at a wall. Full gym access is part of the all-inclusive plan, so there’s nothing to pay. If you’d rather train with someone, the fitness centre’s instructors also run classes, from yoga and Pilates to Zumba and aqua fitness.

Sunrise Yoga
Morning yoga class to start the day
Sunrise Yoga

Sunrise yoga is the morning version of the sunset class, so you’re on the mat as the day begins. An instructor from the fitness centre leads it, and classes are open to anyone from first-timers upwards. The resort has a dedicated yoga pavilion. If you’re only going to do one class, this is the one that sets you up for the day. Up to three yoga or Pilates classes are included on the all-inclusive plan.

Sunset Yoga
Evening yoga class as the sun goes down
Sunset Yoga

Sunset yoga is the evening class at You & Me, timed for the end of the day as the light drops. It’s led by one of the fitness centre’s qualified instructors and pitched so beginners can follow along, and the resort has its own yoga pavilion. It’s a good way to wind down before dinner. Up to three yoga or Pilates classes are included on the all-inclusive plan, and any after that cost extra.

Pilates
Pilates with an instructor, part of three included classes
Pilates

Pilates at You & Me is taught by the fitness centre’s qualified instructors, in sessions of 30 or 60 minutes that work for beginners and regulars alike. The resort’s own offers describe the classes as beachfront. The all-inclusive plan includes up to three yoga or Pilates classes during your stay, so a few mornings on the mat cost nothing extra. Classes beyond those three are charged.

Sunset Dolphin Cruise
Evening boat trip to look for dolphins
Sunset Dolphin Cruise

The waters of Raa Atoll hold hundreds of dolphins, and the resort says they’re often seen on its daily boat trips. This cruise heads out late in the day so you’re looking for them as the sun goes down. Sightings are likely, never guaranteed. The all-inclusive plan includes a sunset cruise on stays of three nights or more.

Picnic Island
A tiny uninhabited island, just the two of you
Picnic Island

The resort takes you by boat to a tiny uninhabited island, ringed by clear water and coral, and leaves the two of you to it. Take your snorkel kit, which comes with the all-inclusive plan: the resort pitches this as a snorkelling trip as much as a picnic. Picnic Island is an excursion, so it costs extra.

Sunset Fishing
Hand-line fishing at dusk, the Maldivian way
Sunset Fishing

Sunset fishing is a short boat trip as the light goes, done the way Maldivians have fished for generations: hand lines, with raw fish for bait and no rods. It takes a little knack and no experience, and it’s a pleasant way to spend the last hour of the day out on the water together. The trip is booked through the resort’s guest relations team and costs extra.

Sunrise Fishing-Trolling
Trolling at sunrise for wahoo, jack fish and tuna
Sunrise Fishing-Trolling

Sunrise fishing gets you out on the boat as the sun comes up. Lines trail behind as you move, and the fish you’re after are wahoo, jack fish and tuna. You don’t need to land anything for it to be worth the early alarm, since you’ll have watched the day start from the water. Like the resort’s other fishing trips, it’s booked with the guest relations team on the island and costs extra.

Local Island Tour
Visit a nearby island where a few hundred people live
Local Island Tour

This trip takes you to one of the inhabited islands near You & Me, home to only a few hundred people, for a look at everyday Maldivian life away from the resorts. It’s a useful contrast to a week on an adults-only island. Inhabited islands in the Maldives are conservative, so cover your shoulders and knees for the visit. The tour is booked through the resort’s guest relations team and costs extra.

Big Game Fishing
Morning trolling for sailfish, marlin and dorado
Big Game Fishing

Big game fishing at You & Me means trolling: lines run behind a moving boat in deep water, with sailfish, marlin and dorado as the target. The resort says fish out here can be one to two metres long. The trip goes out in the morning, while the breeze is still cool, with reefs and palm-covered islands in view along the way. It’s a paid excursion, booked with the guest relations team on the island.

Live Band DJ
Live music or a DJ at Cheers, every evening
Live Band DJ

Every evening there’s live music or entertainment at Cheers Bar, the resort’s bar near the main pool, and the resort lists live band and DJ nights among its daily entertainment. You don’t have to plan around it. It’s there when you finish dinner. The music is included on the all-inclusive plan, and so are your drinks while you listen, from 10:00 until 02:00. H2O is the one venue where drinks aren’t covered.

Cultural Show
Maldivian cultural show and Boduberu night, both included
Cultural Show

The resort puts on a Maldivian Cultural Show as part of its regular entertainment, and its all-inclusive list names a Boduberu Night as well. Boduberu is the traditional drum and song music of the Maldives, played by a group of drummers and singers, and a performance usually builds from slow to fast. Both are part of the scheduled entertainment, so they’re included on the all-inclusive plan.

Cinema Under the Stars
Open-air movie nights, included on the all-inclusive plan
Cinema Under the Stars

Cinema Under the Stars is the open-air film night at You & Me, and one of the quieter evenings on the entertainment programme. Movie nights are on the list of entertainment the all-inclusive plan covers, so you won’t pay to watch. If you’d rather stay in, the resort also keeps a books and video library.

Themed Parties
Sandbank, White Party, glow disco and karaoke nights
Themed Parties

Some evenings at You & Me are party nights. The resort lists four of them: a Sandbank Party, a White Party, a Glow Disco Night and a Karaoke Night. Everyone on the island is 16 or over, so they’re adults-only nights by default. They’re part of the scheduled entertainment, which the all-inclusive plan covers, so there’s nothing extra to pay to join in.
Special Moments
Curated Experiences Made for Two
From overwater spa rituals and intimate island weddings to beautifully captured memories, these signature experiences are designed to deepen connection and create lasting moments in paradise.
Overwater spa by Elizabeth Arden
Elizabeth Arden Spa
The You & Me Spa by Elizabeth Arden uses four overwater bungalows as treatment rooms, and a porthole under the massage bed lets you look down into the lagoon while you’re lying face down. Therapists work with Elizabeth Arden PRO and HESITO products, on anything from facials to full-body treatments, for one of you or both together. There’s also a sauna, a steam room and an open-air jacuzzi. Spa treatments cost extra.

A sunset wedding by the lagoon
Wedding
You & Me hosts destination weddings. You say your vows at sunset beneath a floral arch at the water’s edge, then move to a candlelit tent facing the lagoon for the celebration with your family and friends. The island is adults only, so every guest you bring needs to be 16 or over. The resort has a wedding brochure with the details. Weddings cost extra.

A private photo shoot with IMStudio
Photography
Photo shoots at You & Me are run by IMStudio, the island’s photo studio. Its photographers have years of experience shooting guests in the Maldives and know the island’s best-known spots, and they use the resort’s architecture as a backdrop. Private sessions cost extra. Guests can’t fly their own drones on the island; drone shoots go through guest relations.
